Closing the pit lane: A farewell to F1 predictions
Dear F1 Predictor community,
It is with mixed emotions that I share this update with you today. After seven exciting years of providing F1 predictions on f1-predictor.com, I have come to the decision to cease the regular posting of Formula 1 qualifying and race predictions.
This decision has not come lightly, and it’s based on the increasing demands of my daily job, which has grown substantially over the past months. While it’s bittersweet to step back from the F1 prediction game, I am also excited about the opportunity to shift the focus of the blog towards broader data science topics.
Since 2017, f1-predictor.com has been home to a machine-learning-based F1 race prediction engine. The journey has been incredible, and I am grateful for each and every one of you who visited the site, engaged with the predictions, and contributed to the discussions through comments and questions. Your enthusiasm and support have been the driving force behind this project. I’m proud that more than 19K users visited this website per year – I never thought such a niche blog could reach this number!
As the chapter of F1 predictions comes to a close, I am eager to explore and share more about the fascinating world of data science. The blog will continue to serve as a platform for insightful articles, tutorials, and discussions related to data science, providing a valuable resource for those interested in the field.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to all the followers, readers, and enthusiasts who have been a part of this journey. Your curiosity and engagement have been a constant source of inspiration, and I hope you’ll join me in this new phase of the blog.
Thank you for being a part of the F1 Predictor community, and I look forward to sharing exciting data science adventures with you in the future.
Best regards,
Stergios

Sad to hear, your predictions always helped inform my predictions on predictformula.one (although I came nearly last place last season) ! All the best
Thank you for the informative website for these many years. Always enjoyed getting the email before a race to see how the computer ranks drivers and your commentary.
Cheers
Thanks for all your insightful post. Good luck for the future!
