Italian GP 2020
The temple of speed! F1 is heading to the iconic Monza circuit for the fastest race in the calendar. In such a power-hungry circuit, it will be a great chance to observe what impact (if any) the ban of ‘party’ engine modes has on the qualifying session. Mercedes are expected to be hit the most but Toto Wolff has suggested that it may actually give their cars a boost come race day.
Apart from the all-too-familiar Mercedes one-two, the model has surprisingly given Perez a 56% chance of coming ahead of Verstappen in qualifying! What a bold prediction – hope the model gets this right. Other than that, it will be interesting (and most possibly disappointing) to see where the Ferraris will end up in quali and race sessions. Don’t forget that Leclerc won this race last year…
