Russian GP 2019
Ferrari won, or rather Mercedes lost, the Singapore GP and Vettel took his first victory after almost 400 days of drought. Russian GP is another race where we’ll be expecting a close fight between the two teams. Red Bull will necessarily be further back due to the expected grid penalties from fitting new engines on their cars.
For the first time ever, the model gives Leclerc an edge on qualifying (55%-45% over Hamilton). This is quite reasonable given his current form and the fact that he is the only driver to have 5 pole positions this season (Lewis has 4). I think that Mercedes will bounce back and win this race with Bottas trying to prove he is still a title contender…
Verstappen, Albon, Kvyat and Gasly have been given grid penalties.
