Singapore GP 2023
Another record broken by Max Verstappen at Monza as he took the 10th consecutive F1 win. Nothing seems to be able to stop him unless Sergio Perez manages to repeat his 2022 victory in Singapore GP. Of course, it’s a street circuit and everything can happen… but we said the same thing for the Dutch GP were Max won despite all the circumstances.
The model predicts Max to win both quali and the race while the Ferraris will start from the 2nd row of the grid. Behind them, Mercedes, Aston Martin and McLaren will be fighting for the points-scoring positions.

How does this prediction different from the one that bookmakers use to calculate the odds?
I don’t know the specifics but I assume they use some statistical models rather than ML based ones. With some statistical model you can get the whole distribution of possible results and then decide the odds for many different markets (e.g. top 3, top 10, head to head comparisons etc).
