Austrian GP 2023
It was just the third time in history that Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton shared the podium. 11 world championships standing next to each other! Basically, most of the post-Schumacher multiple-champions shared the podium. Only the retired Sebastian Vettel was missing. Raikkonen, Button and Rosberg became world champions during these years as well but just once (as if it was easy to do that). Everyone is hoping for a more level playing field and a great battle among all those champions in the near future. Alonso and Hamilton will not be getting any younger, so this must happen sooner rather than later.
Although Leclerc won this race in 2022, he won’t be anywhere near the podium this time. Max is most probably going to win. The question is whether Perez can have a decent race after underperforming for three successive GPs and whether Lewis or Fernando can do a magic trick and steal the victory from Max. I’m sure both are going to give their best and exploit even the tiniest opportunity that arrives.
