Canadian GP 2019
Ferrari has finally managed to stop Mercedes’ consecutive one-twos but again this was due to Bottas getting an unexpected puncture. Canada, a circuit with many long straights, could be a strong race for the team from Maranello. Still, the silver arrows and Lewis look unbeatable this year.
The model gives a slight edge for Hamilton over Bottas in qualifying (50.2%) but a 55.7% of him winning in the race; something that makes sense given the the Finn’s strong qualifying performances this year. Further back, let’s see if Robert Kubica can escape that dead last position and do something better in the circuit where we had the brutal crash in 2007.
Sainz has been given a 3-place grid penalty while Magnussen will finally start from the pit lane after his accident.
