Monaco GP 2023
Since the Emilia Romagna grand prix has been cancelled due to extreme floods in the area, several teams did not have the chance to test their upgrades at Imola. This weekend, Monaco presents a unique challenge and the teams are expected to have some one-off car parts. Will anyone be able to challenge the Red Bulls for the win? Can Fernando Alonso take a win in Monaco and repeat what he did in 2006, when he won in the street circuit starting from pole? It might well be his best chance for this season.
Of course, it would be absurd to predict anyone other than Max or Checo taking the pole and the victory this weekend. However, given Red Bull’s relative weakness in tire warm-up tactics in qualifying and Monaco’s difficulty of overtaking, it could be possible for someone to make a surprise.

Hi I just found this site as I was searching what it would take to build an AI algorithm to predict F1 races.
I’ll keep following the page this year. Thanks for publishing.
I’d love to learn a little more about how you built the algorithm and datasets.
Hi, thanks for the nice words. You can read these blog posts (https://www.f1-predictor.com/category/data-science/) to understand how I’ve built these predictions. All data come from https://ergast.com/.
Great stuff as always
Do you have a public repo (like on GitHub) where you push your datasets and models?
No, I don’t. The data are available on http://ergast.com/ but the models are not (yet) on github. What would you like to see there?
