Spanish GP 2022
Miami GP race proved once more that Red Bull is the fastest car (in Max’s hands) but the Ferraris are consistent, and rather importantly, reliable. Of course, its way too early to say that the Red Bulls will be the strongest car in all races. In contrast, most teams will be bringing heavy updates in Barcelona this week hoping to make gains. The cars are still new and most teams will find many tenths per lap in the coming months. Will Ferrari be able to take its first title since 2008 or will the RBs win the constructors championship come the season end?
The models predicts Leclerc to take the pole but Max to win the race. This sounds realistic based on the past few races however I think that it is the team from Maranello that will win in Spain this week. Sainz will be in his home country for the first time with such a competitive car, so things might get interesting. Moreover, since Catalonia circuit is used for most testing days, it will be exciting to see if the new rules lead to more close racing.
