F1 has finally cracked Florida’s market by hosting the first ever Miami GP that will be held around the iconic Hard Rock stadium – home stadium of the Miami Dolphins NFL team. The current American F1 commercial rights owner have certainly helped F1 boost the number of fans in the last few years, especially with the help of Netflix series “drive to survive”. Still, I have a feeling that F1 will become more mainstream, more entertainment focused, less technology focused and might lose the hardcore F1 fans it used to have. Who am I to judge their calls! However, I cannot remain too optimistic about F1’s future since it becoming more of a show rather than a sport.
In any case, despite Max’s win at Imola, the model thinks Leclerc is the favorite for this race. Bottas has had a phenomenal start at Alfa Romeo and is expected to qualify as high as fourth! Mercedes said they have found several directions for improving the car, so I remain cautiously optimistic about the champions’ performance in the next few races.
